How To Use RU58841: The Complete Protocol

This is the full protocol. How to apply RU58841 properly, when to use it, what to pair it with, and what to expect in the first few months. No fluff. Just the routine.

The daily routine

Apply 1ml of RU58841 solution to thinning areas every morning. Use the dropper to spread it across the scalp where you're losing density. Massage it in lightly with your fingertips for 10 to 15 seconds. Let it dry. Style as normal.

That's it. The whole thing takes about 60 seconds.

The ethanol base dries fast so there's no greasy residue. Nobody will know you're using it. Apply to a clean, dry scalp for best absorption. If you shower in the morning, towel dry your hair first, apply, then style.

If you're using RUstim+

RUstim+ already has RU58841, Minoxidil, Caffeine and Peppermint Oil combined. One application in the morning covers everything. You don't need to layer separate products.

If you're using RU58841 5% standalone

The RU58841 5% standalone is just the DHT blocker. If you're also using Minoxidil separately, split them: RU in the morning, Minoxidil at night. This gives each product maximum contact time with the scalp without diluting the other.

Microneedling with the dermastamp

Use the dermastamp once a week. 1.5mm depth. Press straight in and lift straight out across the thinning areas. Takes about 2 minutes. The stamp creates tiny channels in the scalp that do two things: increase absorption of your topicals by up to 8x, and trigger your body's wound healing response which stimulates new growth on its own.

Important: Wait 24 to 36 hours after stamping before applying RU58841 or any topical. If you stamp at 8pm Sunday, don't apply anything before 8pm Monday. Applying on freshly stamped skin pushes the compound deeper than intended.

Don't use a derma roller. Rollers drag across the skin at an angle, creating V-shaped tears that cause micro-scarring. A stamp goes straight in and straight out. Clean punctures. Better healing. Better results.

The scalp massager

Use it daily. While watching TV, at your desk, whenever you remember. It increases blood circulation to the scalp which means more nutrients reaching the follicles. No set time. No set duration. Just use it consistently.

The weekly schedule

Monday to Saturday: Apply RU58841 (or RUstim+) every morning. Scalp massager whenever.

Sunday evening: Dermastamp session. 1.5mm, 2 minutes across thinning areas.

Monday: Skip the morning application if you stamped less than 24 hours ago. Resume Tuesday morning as normal.

That's the full protocol. Adjust the stamping day to whatever suits your schedule. The key is consistency. Miss a day here and there, fine. Miss a week, you're slowing your progress.

What to expect: the timeline

Weeks 1 to 6: The shedding phase

You might lose more hair than normal. This is the most common reason people quit early and it's the worst time to quit. Shedding means weak, miniaturised hairs are falling out as stronger ones start to push through. It looks worse before it looks better. Stick with it.

Month 2 to 3: Early regrowth

Shedding slows down. You start noticing new growth. Thin areas begin to fill in. The hair coming through is thicker than what fell out. This is where you start seeing the protocol work.

Month 4 to 6: Visible improvement

Proper density returning. Less scalp visible. The kind of improvement where you stop checking mirrors obsessively and just get on with your day.

Month 6 to 12: Full results

Maximum density improvement. The longer you stay on protocol, the better it gets. Most people peak around 18 to 24 months. After that it's maintenance. Keep applying daily and you keep what you've grown.

Common mistakes

Quitting during the shed. The shedding phase is the product working, not failing. Stopping at week 4 because you're shedding more is like leaving the gym after one session because you're sore.

Applying too much. More isn't better. 1ml per application is enough. Drowning your scalp doesn't increase absorption, it just wastes product.

Stamping and applying same day. Wait 24 to 36 hours. Every time.

Inconsistency. This isn't a once-a-week thing. Daily application is what makes it work. Think of it like brushing your teeth. You don't do it when you feel like it. You do it every day because that's how it works.

Not giving it enough time. If you haven't done 3 months consistently, you haven't given it a fair shot. Hair growth cycles are slow. The results are worth the wait.
